The identity of a 20-year-old backcountry snowboarder who died in an avalanche near Loveland Pass is expected to be released Thursday. Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson said the slide happened at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, about a mile west of Arapahoe Basin ski area.
